| ABOUT |
| I was a late starter in photography coming to it in my mid 20s, although you could say that I was a natural photographer, having spent a lot of my childhood happily snapping away with a 127 camera whilst travelling the world with my parents; Not realising that almost 20 years later this would eventually become my passion and my career. Born and Bred in Australia, I studied Film and International Politics at my hometown university in Adelaide. During such time I had the fortunate opportunity to take pictures for the local street press and the university magazine, however I still saw it as a hobby and on leaving university I began a career in the film industry working as a Camera Assistant, Grip and Gaffer. I quickly realised that my heart was not in it and all I wanted to do was to take pictures, so this led me to assist one of Australia’s most respected photographers, Milton Wordley, which was a steep learning curve moving from the film industry to photography. After slogging it as an assistant for 3 Years, I then started working as a full time photographer; shooting a wide range of work throughout Australia. In 2003, I took the bold decision to pack all my possessions and buy a return ticket (just incase) to London in order to follow my dream to work at the highest level in photography. It’s now 7 years later and it was the best move I made. Although, I miss the sun, beaches and Aussie lifestyle, I have had some amazing experiences travelling to all four corners of the planet. |
